A Note from the Pastor

Holy Time

This is a note from one of the pastors at First Evangelical Covenant Church, but not Pastor Mike. This is his wife Gina, also an ordained pastor. I will be keeping in touch with all of you via this web page for First Covenant Church of Cadillac. Many of us think when Easter is over the Holy times of the year are at an end. After Jesus arose from the dead, He remained on earth for forty days.  During that time he prepared His disciples to continue ministering, healing, planting churches and to spread the good news of the Living Christ through the glory of God, the Father and Holy Spirit. This is only the beginnings of the church as we know it today. It began to grow by the tens of thousands. It spread throughout the Middle East, Europe, Far East and now the world.

No the Holy times do not come to an end for the year after Easter. The holy times are those personal times with God in study, prayer and daily worship. Easter is just one of those special notice times. A traditional special notice time with eternal consequences.
